A Jersey girl who loves running, the shore, and horses, found her way to Atlanta to meet her best friend and live happily ever-after.

An outdoorsman who enjoys Oklahoma Sooner Football, Photography, and Camping, found love by not looking for it.  The best thing to ever happen to me is to have met and to have fallen in love with Tara.

Tara and I had been dating for about 1 year and a half and had been talking about future plans. As we had been looking at wedding rings. As we continued looking for rings and Diamonds, I found the perfect match at one of our favorite jewelry stores. I brought Tara to see the ring and she loved it! So the next day, I came back and bought it. Tara decided that she liked the ring even more and wanted to go back and see it the following weekend. However, it was gone since I purchased it! She was disappointed about the ring not being there and so we continued looking at other places. We were coming up on our Tybee Island trip and she started making comments on how she would like to be proposed to. But all of that changed when opportunity knocked!!

After I realized that the beach was going to be predictable, I decided to propose to her at her work with her friends. I made a few calls and got everything set up! I had one dozen roses, a ring and wobbly knees! Tara had no idea what was going on... Tara's office thought it would work best to use the back door of the office. As we came up the aisle, she had no idea. Then I came to her, with everyone else behind me and knelt on one knee to ask that question... "Will you marry me?" After she finally got control of her emotions and her knees, she said yes! Then we set the date within days, but before we did, we decided to plan the Honeymoon at Disney. Then we decided on the date!

We took our Official Engagement Trip during Labor Day Weekend! We left for Tybee Island on Thursday and were fortunate to drive through Hurricane Earl!!! What a trip we had! With the Hurricane, we were able to pick up Sand Dollars and have a nice quiet romantic time to enjoy the sun and water! Believe it or not, we had the best time of our life during this weekend! We had no power and hardly no-one was there until Saturday evening! View the next pages and you can see some of our pictures from this trip!!!
