After reading about our engagement, you know that we are very friend oriented.  With that proposal came a need to find a place to get married.  We went all over Atlanta and did not find the "right place".  We thought, maybe we should consider Tybee Island, as it was one of our favorite places to vacation.  We thought of a Beach Wedding with the waves crashing down behind us as we said our "I Do's".  But it was not meant to be for us. 

As we decided to take a quick vacation to Disney World, we thought that would be a neat place to get married, but probably TOO EXPENSIVE!  However, we started our investigation.  We have had friends spend their honeymoon there, but no one we know has ever gotten married there!? We contacted Disney and scheduled an appointment to view the Wedding Pavilion.  It was love at first sight!  From the boutique to the Octagon shaped chapel, this became our desire to share our "I Do's" with our friends and family here! 

We made our decision for sure on our follow up trip in February of 1999.   We told our friends and family members to plan their vacations around this September wedding so we could all enjoy time together and share this magical time.  Tara's father came down to walk his young and beautiful daughter down the aisle with Blake's mother being there as well.  We had a wonderful time!

The wedding was a wonderful celebration of romance, love and expressing them with our commitment in front of our friends, family, and God. 

Earlier in the week, Blake sent a dozen roses with a card simply stating, "I do, Love Freckles".  Tara was in tears.  Tara surprised Blake back with having Mickey Mouse, HIMSELF. at the Reception.

Part of our package was to have wedding photographs taken at the Magic Kingdom.  Believe it or not, this image was taken around 4:00 the morning after we married.  We also had a special brick placed in the walkway outside the wedding pavilion as well as a ride in the vintage 1942 Cadillac.  There are so many fond memories about our wedding.  Thank you for sharing them with us today!
